OUR NUTRITION PHILOSOPHY
At Wellosophy, we believe first and foremost in encouraging a healthy lifestyle, which includes a varied and balanced diet. Everything we do – from our nutrition and lifestyle advice, to the development of our food products and supplements – is guided by our Nutrition Philosophy. We are inspired by the principles of the Nordic Diet; our products and advice are underpinned by the latest nutrition science; and we strive for sustainable nutrition.
INSPIRED BY THE NORDIC DIET
The principles of the Nordic Diet inspire the nutritional advice we give, and the products that we offer. Just like the Mediterranean Diet, the Nordic Diet is renowned for its many health benefits. It is based on eating fresh, whole foods, which are locally sourced, sustainably farmed and seasonally harvested. It promotes nutrients that we aren’t eating enough of, or in the right pattern, like protein, dietary fibre, omega-3, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. It limits nutrients where high intakes are linked with health problems – like excess calories, saturated fat, salt and sugar.
UNDERPINNED BY THE LATEST SCIENCE
Our products are tailored to meet nutritional needs, designed to be safe and compliant, and backed by science. We only ever formulate with ingredients at optimal doses to support dietary intake and deliver proven health benefits shown in research. Our nutritional research and product development are guided by the experts in our own Nutrition Council. In addition, our independent Scientific Advisory Board bring the latest research from their own specialist fields. This ensures the highest scientific rigour behind everything that we do.

Sustainable nutrition is nutrition that is healthy for people, and also for the planet. We ensure that our products are of high nutritional quality and contribute to good health. We also strive to use plant-based and sustainably-sourced ingredients in our products wherever possible.
